2027 Satir Learning Group (Virtual)

This year-long group offering provides therapists, coaches, and other helping professionals with a virtual space to grow their skill and application of the Satir Growth Model — guided by the group itself, and by what each week's members bring to the room.
Program Description
This group follows the group, not a fixed curriculum. Some weeks bring a topic members want to learn more about, with light instruction alongside open discussion. Other weeks turn to case consultation — bringing real work to the room and thinking it through together. Still others make space for personal application: what the model is surfacing in participants' own lives, and what to do with it.
Led by Regina Taggart and Kelly Toney, the group offers an ongoing, low-barrier way to stay connected to the Satir Growth Model, get real-time consultation on your work, and build community with practitioners who share a common language — with the flexibility to follow what the group actually needs, week to week.
The Satir Learning Group is for practitioners who want to deepen their skill and confidence in applying the model — whether that means sharpening clinical practice, growing as a coach, or simply going further with the model than a single training allows.

Cost & Payment Options
The full year’s cost is $1,500, which equates to $75 per session. Participation is a year-long commitment.

Pay in Full – $1,500 (one-time payment)
Quarterly Plan – $375 per quarter (4 total payments)
Monthly Plan – $138 per month (12 payments; includes a minor surcharge)
The first payment is due upon acceptance into the group.
Financial Aid — Financial aid is available for those who would otherwise face a barrier to joining. Reach out to the Center to inquire.
Cancellation: Enrollment in the Satir Learning Group is an annual commitment. If you cancel before the group begins, you'll be refunded in full, less a $35 registration fee. Once the group has begun, no refunds will be issued.
Facilitators
Regina Taggart, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and Executive Director of the Virginia M. Satir Center, with over 20 years of experience integrating the Satir Growth Model into clinical practice, supervision, and training. She holds an MSW from the University of South Florida and completed the Year Long Practitioner Development Workshop in Chapel Hill. Regina has trained therapists and practitioners around the world in the Satir Growth Model and will co-lead this group alongside Kelly.
Kelly Toney, MSW, LISW-CP, CEDS-S, is a licensed independent social worker and clinical supervisor in South Carolina with over ten years of experience specializing in the Satir Growth Model. A certified eating disorder and body image specialist (CEDS-S), Kelly integrates systemic, experiential approaches with evidence-based practice in her clinical work. She is currently apprenticing with Jean McLendon at the Virginia M. Satir Center, deepening her training in the Satir model as she prepares to lead this group.
